SCS sheets are produced at Heidtman Steel's 250,00 sq. ft. complex next to the SDI's thin-slab cast mill in Butler, Indiana. Material to be SCS'd is first flattened on a stretcher leveling CTL line. This completely stress-relieves the material, making it ideal for plasma or laser cutting without "springback."
